JANUARY WORKSHOP

At my January workshop, we will be making the Desktop Organizer with cards as seen below. We will be using "So Much Happy" from the NEW Seasonal Expressions catalog. You will make 10 regular A2 size cards and five 3" x 3" cards. All cards will have envelopes. We might make a few tags, if time permits. The candy is not included, but something you can add later if you decide to gift this item.  

Most of you already signed up at my November workshop. I do have just a couple seats remaining, so if you are interested let me know. This workshop is $25 and I do require the workshop fee up front.  Workshop fee is due by December 31st to save your seat.

CONGRATULATIONS

CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Kimberle!!  Her name was drawn as the winner of my Christmas theme desktop organizer filled with cards, gift tags, and candy.  

Save The Date!!  

At my January workshops, 17th, 18th, and 19th, we will be making these desktop organizers but with another paper; something that can be used year around.  You will learn how to use one 12" x 12" sheet of paper to make 10 cards. We will also make 5 mini cards and a couple of tags to put in the organizer. Sorry.... the candy will not be included.

MIXED MEDIA CLASS - DECEMBER

Featured Technique:  Using Texture Paste 

Would you like to learn how to use the Opaque Matte Texture Paste, 

creating some mixed media on a card and a scrapbook page? 
We will also be using the new Boutique paper product line.

Two ways to attend:  

• Workshop fee $20; you will receive your own 3.9 oz. jar of Opaque Matte Texture Paste and Palette Knives set. This price also includes the other workshop materials, such as paper and cardstock.
• Purchase a Boutique Deluxe Bundle $30  Includes: 3.9 oz jar Opaque Matte Texture Paste, Palette Knives set, Sugarplum Shimmer Brush, and Matte Stencil Film Sheets (to create your own stencils). There would be no workshop fee ($20) should you decide you want this bundle.

If you are planning to attend this class, I highly suggest you bring your own All-Purpose, non-stick mat (example on pg 142 Holiday Expressions) with you. If you do not have one, I will give you a sheet of wax paper to work on. You'll need to work on something that easily wipes clean while using this product. I will have baby wipes available, but if you have your own, bring them as well. You will be using those to wipe off the palette knives and your mat.

"New" Grateful Heart 

In October, we will be creating with the NEW "Grateful Heart" (X7237B) paper pack from Close To My Heart. This beautiful paper is one of my favorites from the new Seasonal Expressions catalog, and I know you will love it too!  The color combinations used in these cards are Goldrush, Fern, Pomegranate, Glacier, Sapphire, Mink, and New England Ivy. We will be making four cards and a 3-D pumpkin, which can also hold some candy! One of the cards will be a Triple Circle Flip card.

We  will be making a candy Rolo Flower and the four cards above plus one more card, possibly using the August Stamp of the Month, For the Love of Crafting. Techniques include using chalks, background stamping, and making a waterfall card. Create with the beautiful new Documented paper pack. Colors include Eggplant, Peacock, Sweet Leaf, and Bashful. (Colors are much deeper than picture shows.)
