JANUARY WORKSHOP CARDS/PROJECT

Below are the cards/project being made at my January workshops. You will make three birthday cards, one of which is a gift card holder (envelope style), a Valentine (or Thank You) card, and a Get Better tissue holder.  We will also be doing a technique with baby wipes and re-inkers.

RECIPE

It's summer and the kids or grandkids always enjoy spending time in the kitchen baking up some new cookie recipes.  I'm sharing this one; found on Facebook. 

Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies (recipe)

 

1 chocolate chip cookie mix

1 stick of butter, softened

1 egg

2 oz. chopped pecans

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

1/2 cup chocolate chips

 

Mix cookie mix according to the package directions. Add the butter and egg. Mix until combined. Stir in the pecans, white chocolate chips, and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool slightly and then enjoy with a tall glass of low-fat milk.  Enjoy!
